About Copper Cathode

Copper Cathode is the standard traded form of high-purity refined copper, produced through electrolytic refining. Grade A cathode carries a minimum copper content of 99.99% with tightly controlled impurity levels, and serves as the primary feedstock for copper wire rod, cable, strip, tube and alloy production.

The material conforms to internationally recognized standards including LME Grade A, Cu-CATH-1 (EN 1978) and ASTM B115. Standard cathode plates are supplied for bulk industrial use. Both LME registered and non-LME registered brands are available depending on origin and requirement.

Pricing is based on the London Metal Exchange (LME), typically quoted as the LME cash price plus a regional premium, adjusted for brand and logistics. Final pricing and premium are confirmed per transaction.
